When complete, the development will provide up to 605 new homes and will comprise 1 and 2 bed apartments as well as 2 and 3 bed terraced and larger 4 and 5 bed semi-detached and detached houses.
Of the 605 new homes, 35% will be affordable housing available as either affordable rented properties or shared ownership.
Outline consent has been granted for the housing element of the development, which will be developed over five phases. The first phase will be marketed for sale in 2021. The successful purchaser of each phase will need to submit a reserved matters planning application that sets out the detailed design and layout. These applications will be subject to further public consultation when they are submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council as Local Planning Authority.
